While COVID-19 has prevented us from gathering together for our usual festive event, EC4A’s commitment to helping kids in need never stops! Bollywood Meets Borscht Belt has never been just a dinner or just entertainment—it is a pledge, a promise, a joining of hands, between the EC4A and the Jewish community to help make a better future for the neediest of students. Together, we have helped over 12,000 children in the last 11 years, and no pandemic will stop our dedication to "Serve Where You Live". TM
And so BMBB 2021 lives on! This year, EC4A will be helping children in homeless and high-poverty situations in the Greater Austin area start the school year with the tools that they need. Because of COVID-19, even more are suffering due to the loss of their parents’ jobs and homes, so we cannot let up. Children need us more than ever for school supplies.
