Hindu Charities for America (dba Education Charities for America/EC4A) is hosting its annual HC4A Scholarship Gala on October 7, 2023, to raise funds for scholarships to be awarded in 2024. The 2023 HC4A Gala will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Austin Pflugerville and Pflugerville Conference Center, and will feature a cocktail reception, entertainment, dinner, live music, and a silent auction.
Last year’s gala, in aggregate, raised over $120,000, which supported over 120 scholarships. These scholarships helped students and heads of households get jobs that paid better than living wages. The scholarships also supported a pilot program with the African American Youth Harvest Foundation (AAYHF) to provide certification courses to underserved youth.
This year, EC4A is hoping to raise even more funds to support even more scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to students who are pursuing education and training in high-demand fields, such as healthcare, technology, and business. The scholarships will also be awarded to students who are homeless or from low-income families.
The gala is a great opportunity to support a worthy cause and help change the lives of students who are working hard to improve their future. More information will be sent out soon.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available that will be soon published.
